Give the Gift of GigBooks
Know a freelancer who dreads tax time? Give them a GigBooks Tax Season Pass.
How it works
- Visit gigbooks.ca/gift
- Enter the recipient's email address
- Optionally add your name and a personal message
- Pay $49 through our secure Stripe checkout (no GigBooks account needed)
- The recipient receives an email with a unique gift code
What the recipient gets
- A unique gift code in the format GIFT-XXXX-XXXX
- All Pro features for one tax season (Jan 1 – Jun 15)
- Unlimited uploads, full dashboard, all export formats
- AI-powered CRA T2125 expense categorization
Redeeming a gift code
The recipient can redeem their code at gigbooks.ca/pricing:
- Scroll to the bottom of the pricing page
- Enter the gift code in the "Have a code?" section
- If not signed in, they'll be prompted to create an account first
- The Tax Season Pass activates immediately
Important details
- Gift codes never expire. The recipient can use the code for any future tax season.
- Single use. Each gift code can only be redeemed once.
- No account needed to buy. You can purchase a gift without a GigBooks account.
- Fallback. If the email doesn't arrive, the buyer sees the code on the confirmation page and can share it directly.
Availability
Gift purchases are available from January 1 to June 15 each year, during the same window as the regular Tax Season Pass.
